Rage and Ruin picks up right after the events of Storm and Fury . I mean I was invested, but not like one hundred percent there and it’s because it was moving a little slow, but man I should have known that the beginning was just giving me a break for what was to come! The only reason Rage and Ruin lost a star for me is because for like the first quarter of the book, I wasn’t completely engrossed with what was happening.

Why do you ask? Well I’m going to tell you.

Rage and Ruin gets 4 out of 5 stars in the Then There Were Books review book. I received an E-ARC from the author (Thank you!!) in exchange for an honest review and here it comes. So there you go, I mean that right there should be your incentive to get this book, read it, love it, and obsess over it for the rest of the year until the next one comes out. As anger builds and feelings spiral out of control, it becomes clear that rage may be the ruin of them all. But as deaths pile up and they uncover a sinister plot involving the local high school and endangering someone dear to Zayne, Trin realizes she is being led…herded…played for some unknown end. Forbidden to be with each other, Zayne and Trinity fight their feelings and turn to unusual sources for help-the demon Roth and his cohorts. The Harbinger is coming…but who or what is it? All of humankind may fall if Trinity and Zayne can’t win the race against time as dark forces gather.Īs tensions rise, they must stay close together and patrol the DC streets at night, seeking signs of the Harbinger, an entity that is killing Wardens and demons with no seeming rhyme or reason. I swear to you guys this lady creates stories that keep me reading and wanting more and more and more every single time!Īs the title of this post says, I will be discussing Rage and Ruin with you, this is the second installment of The Harbinger series and guys I have to say from the get go, there is a lot to unpack here.Ī half human, half angel and her bonded gargoyle protector must work with demons to stop the apocalypse while avoiding falling in love. This book took me by surprise in the best way possible and I want to say, THANK YOU, Mrs. With that being said, I want to talk to you guys about a book that is to be released June 9. I’m not going to get political and explain what is happening because I’m pretty sure you all know what I’m talking about, but I will leave you guys this link where you can find over one hundred charities to donate if you want to help the cause of what is happening here in the US and all over the world. It’s time for change and to speak up for what you believe and help out those who have been silenced for too long! We are certainly living through some scary and tough times, but I feel like change is coming and though it might not have come the way we were expecting, it’s something that is definitely way overdue and needed.
